Berouthe

- A self assured little wolf who frequently stands up for his cousin when Eyarq tries to start fights

- He spends most of his time with Uiya or Quo'hauru

- Is the only youngling who doesn't complain when asked to help his aunties clear out the den, dry the herbs, etc

- His favourite games are any where he can show off his speed (I.e. tag, mock hunts, keep-away)

- He wants to be a chaser or a pupsitter when he grows up

Name meaning: A reliable, yet bossy wolf, who is very loudly sure of himself

Year 2: Berouthe remained close with Uiya throughout their adolescence, and both became chasers when they grew up. He still gets along very well with Quohau'ru, although, since she came back one day with a boyfriend she's head-over-heels in love with, none of the pack have managed to spend much time with her.

His dislike of his sister Eyarq has mellowed with time, but he still steps in to settle the odd dispute between her and Quo. They still have little in common, but Eyarq is also part of their hunting party, and he accepts the need to try and get along for that sake.

When younger wolves joined from a nearby pack, they caused trouble with his sister, leading to him jumping in to defend her honour and punish said wolves.

After getting injured in the resulting fights, Uiya asked Berouthe to let her fight her own battles, making her brother extremely proud. He let her know that he would always be there to back her up, no matter what, but only if she wants his help.

Berouthe is proud of his role in the pack, happy to have achieved one of his goals. He remains a determined and outgoing young male, but has a new appreciation of just how hard it is to maintain the pack's food stores.
