Ashen Leaf

Ash was a bubbly young wolf, always eager and excitable, she encouraged her sister Charcoal to join in with games and adventures where Charcoal would've otherwise stayed back and only watched. Despite her size Ash was strong, muscles rippled under her brown and gray pelt. She spent much of her time as an adolescent with her grandparents, following along while Cub and Slate went through the daily motions as the leaders of the pack.
Ash was given the name Ashen Leaf for her gentle nature.

As she grew, her attitude mellowed, tempered in part by the chaotic events of Coigreach and the rift that split the pack, but she never let anything get her down for long. She was always up to suggest a race or to wrestle with her pack mates, she had a skill at brightening the mood of others.

Yucca was a withdrawn young male, a little younger than Ash, he reminded her of Charcoal in some ways, observant and reserved. Where Charcoal and Ash had loving parents, Yucca was a foundling who missed out on the care he needed due to the events when he joined the pack.
Ash didn't take much notice of him when they were both adolescents, but he caught her eye once they were adults. She started including him where she could, wishing him luck when he went out hunting, convincing him to go out exploring with her and racing him, including him in conversations and slowly trying to break him out of his shell. He was very hesitant at first, but he started to warm to her, she was thrilled when he first initiated playing and when he would invite her out.
