Aster

Aster had an uncertain start but has made his rise to the top at a steady pace. He's been a great alpha so far. Though he's had to make some harsh choices at times he always does so with the wellbeing of his pack in mind. Now he's getting older and is having trouble deciding who should take over once he's gone. His loving mate Melanie has to remind him every night that there is still time. Even with his mate's encouragement though Aster can't shake this anxiety. He wants the next alpha to lead the pack with kindness, be able to defend them, provide for them when times get tough, and have the ability to stomach the darker decisions an alpha must sometimes make. There are many good choices in his pack but none of them seem right just yet.
