Empty Lineage

Minerva is a relatively quick and standard-built wolf. She may not be the fastest wolf in Alpha Squad, but she is the most experienced chaser in the pack. She studies the terrain extensively and knows how to herd prey into terrain that is more favorable to paws over hooves. As soon as their quarry is where she wants them, she passes her role onto her over-confident squadmate, Zephyra. Outside of hunting, she is standoffish and cold. If she has a negative opinion of you, she readily shows it. If you are not her Lead Huntress or the Grand General himself, she gives you the cold shoulder at the most. She does care for her pack but as a rule, she simply does not show it. Minerva's biggest concern is showing off her strengths and remaining useful. She knows what Grand General Tall does with useless wolves...

Minerva was found stiff and cold in her usual little corner. She spent her life being cold and distant, but reliably feeding the pack and training the next generation of chasers. Her funeral was a solemn one, with even Zephyra sniffling and howling a mournful tune in her late co-chaser's name. The pack remembers the wolf that had given her all to them.
