He was adopted from the Enclave by Aurora and Geo, making him Cloudsong's grandson. She took notice of his capabilities and decided to make him her heir as she was nearing the end of her life. Though some of the other wolves disputed this choice, including the young Hambone himself, he nevertheless became the second leader of Forest's Eyes upon Cloudsong's passing, and he has sworn to carry on her legacy to the best of his ability. He has the natural charisma for it, although he is prone to getting sidetracked sometimes.
