And thus, from a cloudy night a pup was born. Caught between its delicate pelt lies an iridescent glow.  Hidden among a shade of yellow, the glow still lives,  reminiscent of  stone eroding lichen. To some, the glow might resemble that of a familiar foe. Whether she reclines to that of a soft and slow change of the lichen or to that of a brutal change of the slithering foe,  time will tell what its future will hold. But for now, shall the pup play and grow, as the pack slumbers in the calm before the storm. Change is yet again on its way, knocking on the flock's door.
