🌑 Swallow

Originally from the Whispering Woods Pack. Upon laying eyes on him, Alpha Iranul felt a pull towards this particular pup. Thus, he asked if the Whispering Woods Pack Alpha would give the pup to him. He then named the pup 'Swallow' due to the pup's vibrant blue eyes, reminding Alpha Iranul of the bird. It could be said that Swallow may be first in line for the Alpha position, but there's still time to determine whether he'll be the next Alpha or not.

--Swallow is the darling of the Pupsitters and his teachers, not just because he may be next in line for Alpha but because he is such a sweet and helpful pup, although he does get into trouble sometimes. But that's because Sunset drags him along in causing mischief.

--Now that Swallow is an adolescent, Iranul can't help but feel proud. This little tyke has grown up with the necessary survival skills and good looks.
--Both loves and dislikes Monsoon, because after 'dad' took her in, he dotes on her more than Swallow now. Though Swallow knows it's because Monsoon is a pup, he can't help but feel a little jealous.
--After careful consideration, Alpha Iranul has decided to make Swallow his heir. Swallow is excited, but the day that he becomes Alpha is still very far away.
--When Sunset became an adult and had her first heat, Swallow became very protective of her. Along with Alpha Iranul, he warded off every male that approached her. He was especially hostile to Chance. He didn't like whenever Chance was close to her when they were pups, and he certainly won't like Chance ever coming close to Sunset.

--Now that Swallow is an adult, Alpha Iranul gives him authority over the second hunting party to practice on his leadership skills.
--Swallow grew up into a handsome wolf. He's young, but many she-wolves have already seem to take an interest in him, much to Sunset's dislike.
--Alpha Iranul asked Swallow if he wanted to become the Stud when he's Alpha, since it's within the pack's best interest that the Alpha is the Stud. However, Swallow declined, saying he only wanted to mate with Sunset.
--Finally, after waiting for Sunset's first heat to end and for her to stop playing hard-to-get, Swallow has become her Pairbond!
--Considering that Skie and Swallow are the strongest Hunters in the pack, their relationship turned into friendly rivals as they compete over who can be the strongest.
--Swallow became very close with Ryta (his unofficial sibling) and would always offer to pupsit her whenever her Pupsitter is busy.
--Ever since Swallow turned 5 years and 6 months old, he would help Alpha Iranul with Alpha duties. This served as training for when he would take over.
--When Alpha Iranul became 7 years old, he gave most--if not all--of his duties to Swallow to spend time with Neomi. This made Swallow the Alpha without him being titled as Alpha. He doesn't know if that's a good thing, because being Alpha--along with being Laelaps' Lead Hunter--is hard work!
--Swallow and Sunset were asked by Alpha Iranul to raise Sterly for him. He and Neomi were too old to raise a lot of pups--especially since Neomi just gave birth to her last litter, so she's pretty tired often--so Swallow and Sunset agreed to raise Sterly as their pup.
--Now that Alpha Iranul has passed away, Swallow officially became Alpha.
--Swallow became Alpha in his later years, so now he has to choose an heir before he dies. As per the rules set by his adoptive father, Alpha Iranul, the next heir should be either the strongest wolf in the pack or the wolf who has made the most contribution to the pack. Currently, he doesn't know who to choose between Ska, Saiya, and Lylie. Ska is a fair and sensible pup, but he's weaker than the latter two. On the other hand, Saiya easily trusts other wolves, while Lylie is a bit headstrong. Wah, it's so difficult!
--Swallow was absolutely heartbroken when Sunset died. He wouldn't even come out of his cave until his kids forced him out. It hasn't been long either since his adoptive parents died. "At least it won't be long until I can join them," he said. "Please wait for me."
--To prepare for his retirement, Swallow decided to make Ska his heir. The pup has the necessary values of an Alpha that former Alpha Iranul taught him (Swallow), so now Ska just needs to learn how to run a pack.
--The entire pack mourned the death of Monsoon. Swallow wasn't sad because they lost a wolf who could predict the weather but because she was his sister. He wished he treated her better when they were pups, though Monsoon already forgave him for that.
--Swallow can feel his time coming. With his adoptive parents, Pairbond, and siblings gone, it really couldn't have come any sooner for him. But such is the weight of his title 'Alpha'. He's glad to see that Ska is turning out to be a fine wolf and a capable heir, so he knows the pack will in good hands by the time he's gone.
