She flew into the pack like a raging storm. The runt of her litter, but the strongest litter of their kind. She was born to lead and Eldritch stepped aside not because he was afraid of her, but because he was in awe. Two whole classes above his own just at birth.
Katie herself didn't much care that she was put in charge or so soon. She was power hungry and very capable of earning every ounce of it. She was violent, deadly, viciously protective and not in the slightest afraid of anyone in the pack or outside of it. Especially after knowing what had been happening around these lands. None of her new pack had gone missing, thank her lucky stars but so many other wolves were falling victim to these strange lights and voices.. She could never be too vigilant.
As the days passed and Katie learned more about these weird happenings, she learned how to use some of these things to her advantage. With a little help from Tona Katie had learned to summon her own lights. They learned how to set their intentions upon them and even taught the pack to understand them enough to not fall victim to the wrong ones. She was no witch, and had little magic in her veins but she was glad she could at least manage this much.
All this time spent in Dartmoor brought a visible change to her coat. Her dark glossy fur slowly shed in favor of a softer Clover green, as if the moss itself had grown in her fur. Her scars faded into her pelt
A Prophecy Unfulfilled
Deep in the darkest corner of Dartmoor, Katie picked up a lingering musky smell. She had been in this forest for weeks collecting herbs and data for her researches but she had never once caught this smell before. It was intrusive, and dominating and she didn't like it. She paused with her nose to the wind to inspect the smell further before deciding that she should go back the way she came.
On her way back home Katie made sure to step quietly over the moss and fallen leaves of her forest floor. Not a twig snapped as she moved and yet as she reached her den...
A male stood in her way. Tall and heafty.. and pitch black. Almost so black she couldnt see a detail of his fur, only the size of him. His eyes were bright yellow like the wisps at her side, and he wore a cape as black as his fur with a trim to shine like his eyes
