Arazi bid farewell to her similar brother not long in life. He departed them around 3½ months of age. Her husky-like siblings took more after their father. Swan described him as worldly, but otherwise had not much to say on the matter. Arazi knew better than to press her mother for more information. She was no different than Swan: quite aloof toward most of the collective, desiring only to do her part. Then, a nice, long nap. Life was good.

Arazi felt the need to avoid the others not only as an introvert. She expressed if not cynical views, then comments not to be mistaken for cheerful. She got this from her mother's good friend, Kurokai. Not that Arazi knew him directly, but Swan did bark freely in agreement with her ally.

Arazi in fact did much the same as Swan: no romantic interests, few friends, and lots of naps. She stifled any dissent raised toward Felicity in her presence with a raise of her hackles. None dared challenge her. Hazelnut would have backed her and Felicity at a moment's notice. So, if you call that friendship, the three could be considered mates.
