She was born with all the potential. The queen's daughter; silvery black and lush. A flowing, memorable personality. Skilled and intelligent. Even her half sisters envied her; until the silver was tarnished.
She became a queen nearly the moment she passed through her third wending. Rumors began to fly about her and one of the only lone males in the clan, Strife Snap's son Blackened Winds. She had her own reasons not to counter these rumors; and the male, who had not sired any pups, became intensely hostile towards her; far past his usual bitterness. Soon enough; neither could work on the same chase. Both left commission, and Phantom was heartbroken.
Her pups barely survived the first moon.
She buried them with only her mother and sisters by her side.
Though her elegance remains, she has become rather guarded since, and is quite uncourtable by all wanting.

Rumor is, she lost a daughter to the forest itself. When the clan fell to blame for murder; The clan washed themselves of the blame by blunting the sinister forces responsible; at the cost of their own lost wolves.. Her only surviving progeny could not be found thereafter, and she's instantly defensive to all who try to account her for the truth.

When Midnight Wings lost his love; he turned to her to help wean his son. They grew close thereafter, even if it wasnt perfect. Companionship was better then being alone forever. Eventually, Phantom had another litter.
The nursery was empty, and their son could not be found.
The queen wouldnt speak to anyone for moons. Suspicions rose, of infanticide; of staggings.
Only Phantom knew of where he was. He'd been promised to Kepler out of desperation for another chance at a litter now that she'd had a family; for a blessing from her deadworld uncle.
Midnight stood by her side even if he didnt know the truth. At least this time; the loss of their children had someone to grieve with them.

Phantom can be found on the higher ledges of the Больший den early in the morning where she does not fall asleep. She and her mate often hunt in the night and spend the sunlight hours in quiet rest, undisturbed by those awake.
