Sienna

Sienna, as Summer Snowfall's first lead, guided the pack through many tumultuous seasons as the pack grew and changed. Within a few years, her mate, Silvervine, and her first packmates had moved on. Her next oldest packmates were wolves she took in as adolescents.
Sienna has a tendency to consider the younger wolves as her pups. Her mothering makes her an attentive and caring alpha. She's particularly close with Nyctoph, who became like a daughter to her. She also adores Nyctoph's pup, Nola, and Ilse. The two are only a year apart, and are best friends.
Abalone and Frostfire are closest to her age, both about a year younger, and she takes a great deal of comfort in their friendship.
She didn't realize she was getting older until her scouts discovered the glacier, and the ache in her joints made her stiff in the cold. She spoke to Abalone and was dismayed to realize that the gray fur around her friend's face was flecked with white. She stayed closer to home in her last year.
At seven and a half years old, Sienna started to make sure her pack would continue without her. She asked Abalone and Jelly to choose a pup to be their apprentice, and Cnidos became a mentor to ensure the pack's youngest members are well trained.
She chose one of Nyctoph's pups to be her heir, a sapphire-eyed scout named Nola. She reminded Sienna of her daughter, Nora, who had left the pack ages ago. Under Sienna's mentorship, Nola grew into a reliable and diligent heir.
It wasn't until her very last day that Sienna finally relaxed, secure in the knowledge that her packmates would remain safe and well-fed. Her shift in attitude told her pack that this would be their last day together. They feasted and all had full bellies in the dead of winter, and Sienna was groomed by every wolf in her pack. She slept that evening surrounded by her dearest packmates, who she loved like family. Abalone, Frostfire, Nyctoph, Ilse, and Nola kept her warm hours after she took her last breath.
