Biography
Birth Certificate
Birth Date: Oct 13 (Winter)
Mother: Cloudshine
Father: Amun-Ra (stud) (Pack of Thebes)
Birth Stats: 579 = STR 152, SPD 95, AGI 114, WIS 101, SMR 117
Coppershine was a trusting little girl who enjoyed helping others. If someone complained that their bedding was uncomfortable, she was the one moving the bedding material around, pulling apart sticky clumps and knots. If a sibling got a toy stuck under a rock or a log, she was the one trying to move the obstacle to get the toy back, and often succeeded. Her strength was noticed by her pupsitter Squirrelpelt, who thought that she'd be an outstanding finisher one day. Copper's mother Cloudshine was very proud that her daughter was the strongest in the nursery.
At the Academy, Copper studied Strength and Speed with her brother Stoneclaw. They learned tussling, ambushing, and pathfinding. Escaping, bird-catching, and hiding were essential too. The pathfinding lesson was Copper's favorite because navigating terrain and getting over and around obstacles was lots of fun. She also chose to study Wisdom and learned to recognize danger, which would help her stay out of trouble on the hunting trail.
During her apprenticeship, Copper watched her mother to find out what being a Finisher was really about. And it was scary! The danger and blood and death were a little too much for her at first. But with time and her mother's encouragement, Copper learned that she really did have what it took to do this job. All she needed was confidence. She was the strongest and toughest and she was ready for the rigors of life as a Finisher.
Now as an adult, Copper is still the first one there when a packmate needs help. She doesn't mind fetching and carrying, but her hunting work is most important to her. She pushes herself to be better at it every day. After work, she may hang out with her packmates for a while, but she likes to go to bed early. A good night's sleep is essential for being focused on the hunting trail.
