After the death of the previous Warlord, Agnar, Freyja was appointed his heir. The daughter of the chaser, Bård, Freyja had all the gusto needed for her new role. She started awkwardly, perhaps a bit clumsy and unsure of herself; however, as she grew comfortable with her allies and her rank, she was proven to be a fine diplomat. She upheld the traditions and maintained strong bonds with the allied packs, the Pureblood Dynasty and The Pyre.

When Carmen and Gheist's breaking of traditions caused a rift in the alliance, her abilities to maintain relations was tested. Though she did not wish to kill Carmen for falling in love with a wolf of the Dynasty, she was aware that he needed to be punished; Ghislaine approaching her with a wounded eye and news of moving sent the young leader's head spinning. So long had the Dynasty been so tight knit, only for treason and a shift in culture to tear it from its roots.

Following Ghislaine's pack, she allowed Carmen to visit Gheist at the borders with their son. It wasn't until Tempête brought war to the Dynasty that the bonds were mended. As peace once again settled over the two packs, Freyja found herself falling in love with the scarred leader of the Dynasty. However, after the raid upon the Order, she was left injured and unable to do her tasks to the fullest. With a final litter, and an adopted young pup to take her place, she named all the young after her beloved's heritage. Freyja named Armel the heir to her rank, and has allowed him to take charge of most duties while she stood nearby to watch.
