Yintubia's paws pounded on the hard ground as she raced after the elk bull, Farley had managed to track it down and now Florian, Manny and herself were tiring it out before Rory could finish it off. A lot of wolves though that their success came from her gifts but focusing on the hunt and controlling her mind was difficult. She could be leading the elk, meek and docile towards Rory but that was severely looked down upon. Chat had warned her of that when she became a hunter. With a snarl she half skidded across the leaves, cutting off the large bull as it tried to get away, allowing herself to drop into a longer stride to ensure she was keeping pace with it. The three steered it towards the deepest part of the river where Rory would be able to help finish it off. There! She pushed a bit harder and Rory leaped towards the bull, the group driving it into the water for an easier kill. As they guessed, it stopped short, stuck between the river and a wolf on it's back. Manny and Florian raced for the back legs and as Rory slipped off, leaving deep claw marks, Yintubia lunged at the elk's neck and chest.
They were successful and the pack fed well. Yintubia retired early, although she really headed towards the close-by stream, choosing to lap at the water and cool down. With autumn coming, it was a good thing they were stocking up.
"Yintubia." The word came from behind her, both mentally and physically. Chat! It was right there. "Hello Chat." The she-wolf greeted the being. "You've done well as a representative. We're proud of you. So, as per a few requests, we've decided to gift you with... half representatives of your own. Two are similar to yourself, and also posses some gifts... but it's up to you whether you raise them in this pack or send them elsewhere. In either case, we will push your luck to help getting gifted pups. It did come late, things have been... hectic recently." Chat's form flickered and Yintubia almost stepped back in surprise before it stabilised. "Go one now, we'll see you some other time." It said again before fading fully. Yintubia watched for a second as the words sunk in, then hurried back to camp. Best let the sitters and alpha know.... did divine pups need pupsitters?...
