Sissewa

Sissewa was born to a "Pack", which was truly just a group of wolves who traveled from place to place, bartering resources. She and the other pups with her, Moshan, Quehanna, and Sinnema, were used to having no home. They were in a brutally brittle fall when a forest fire broke out. The adults of the pack hid the pups in a cave near a stream while the rest of them tried to help other animals to safety. 

When the fire and smoke cleared and the pups emerged from the cave, the worst met them. Everything had been killed in the fire's wake - they found their smoldering pack huddled around a group of coyotes and a bear cub, near a cliff by the stream. The pups wandered for a few days, not sure on how to fend for themselves or one another. 

Luckily for them, Dioute found them in the bones of a forest. He took them home and the pack readily took them in. 

Sissewa was always the most calm and level-headed of the four of them. She is the peacemaker and makes sure to listen to all sides of every situation, always finding the best way to diffuse a conflict. With the alliance between Shenandoah and Wapiti Run, Sissewa was invited by Dioute to come and help him meet the wolves there. She found herself growing close to the Lead Wolf's son, Aqissiaq. She gave birth to a daughter, Watseka, who ultimately decided to reside with her father in Shenandoah. They would have a second daughter later, named Nushemak who would reside with her mother in Wapiti Run.

She is now retired from hunting and serves as a mentor.
