Hex joined the pack as a pup in its fledgling seasons. As she grew, apprenticed under Ashen, himself, she proved herself to be a resourceful and dangerous hunter, with a vicious joy for dealing the killing blow. She has a tendency towards egocentricity, a result of her natural talent and extraordinary strength. She takes great pride in the hunt, and relishes the praise that follows the kill. She dislikes the company of other wolves, with the exception of Yarrow, who raised her, and Fox Folly, her non-blood brother. Her role in Ashen's inner circle is one she refuses to take seriously -- only having accepted it as was expected as a Leader of the Hunt -- though the pack still views her as a venerable and strong leader among them.
