Howler

During the lesson: Howler frantically dug in the soft ground, able to smell the toy but not find it. A little upset, he kept trying for a long while, and Carrie was impressed with such determination.

During the lesson: Howler had a hard time distinguishing between nearly identical berries. In his opinion it was impossible to make such a decision as quickly as Asher wanted, but he explained that paying attention to detail was a must for an herbalist.

During the lesson: Howler howled with excitement as his voice grew stronger, making sure that the adults could hear the majestic sound. He felt like a leader already.

During the lesson: Asher used a few distracting scents to tempt Howler as they practiced. A successful scout needs to have a will strong enough to stay on the right track no matter what, even if they are hungry.

During the lesson: After learning the basics in a familiar area, Asher took Howler to train outside the den for a new, exciting challenge. Howler had to ambush Asher using all the knowledge gathered so far and see how different it is in an unfamiliar area.

During the lesson: Asher suffered the consequences of his own idea for jaw muscle training. For about half of the class, Howler pulled on his tail as they couldn't find any good branches to practice on.
