Backstory

A fiery, angry, and resentful wolf, Ember hates most everyone in the pack. He's still relatively young, but this wolf has been through a lot. When he was a pup, he was the polar opposite of what he is now. One day, he and his best friend were playing at the creek near his pack territory, but they didn't stay inside the territory line, and a patrol from a rivaling pack caught them. The leader of the patrol killed Ember's best friend, and left him with a horrible scar that ruined him for the rest of his life. He came back to the pack, and even his own parents turned away from him in horror, such a handsome pup had turned into something that closely resembled a monster.. A few days after he had gone into his adolescence, he left his pack to come join WindStar, now known as PineFrost Grove. He wasn't surprised when he found that he hated everyone at that pack as well. Including the alpha. She was weak, in his eyes, but there was one wolf that made the time there easier to bear. That wolf was Lemonade Sundae, the sweetest wolf Ember had ever met. Lemonade treated him so kindly, as if his horrible scar didn't matter, and he only saw Ember as the wolf he used to be, before he had stupidly wandered out of his pack territory. The only problem was Tiger-Eye. Ugh. He couldn't stand that wolf, she was so annoying, and the worst part? Lemonade was sooo in love with her, it aggravated Ember to his core. Speaking of wolves he hated, the alpha, Hibiscus had died, but instead of him being the new alpha, it was Zakiita, her adopted daughter. Ember didn't hate her, per say, she could handle herself well in a fight, and she had that fiery ambition that Ember too did have, except she wanted to help other wolves, which didn't exactly earn her points in Ember's point of view. Hopefully she'd die soon, like her mother, and maybe then Ember would get to finally have his time in a place of power.

• Mate: None, he's saving a spot for Lemonade if he ever decides to leave Tiger-Eye
• Best Friend: None
• Rivals: Other than hating most of the pack, his main rivals are Tiger-Eye and whoever the current alpha is.
• Parents: He couldn't care less about them.

Ember zipped through the woods, his heart pounding nearly as fast as his paws on the forest floor. He hadn't wanted to do it. The stupid wolf was there at the wrong time. Zakiita will be onto me for this. The red wolf thought. She'll finally have a good enough reason to kick me out. A flash of the dead wolf ran through his head before he shoved the thought away. No one can know. Especially not Lemonade. The thought of that sweet, kind, lovable wolf hating him made Ember's stomach turn. He had to hide any evidence that he had killed him.
