They say that Shausa was some kind of water spirit, that she stepped out of the lake one day and made herself at home among the wolves. Before she left, she presented to the pack a shimmering pup she called Brambleberry. No one's quite sure if Brambleberry is a spirit, a mortal, or something in-between. Even Brambleberry is tight-lipped about it.
