Ata arrived halfway through the cold fall, her belly round with pups. This came as a shock to Dioute - Ata was his cousin from his old Pack when he was a pup. Last he saw her, they were both just pups. Ata had heard about him and his Pack at Wapiti Run and after her old pack changed for the worse and her mate abandoned her, she decided to seek him out. Her and her friend Analomink (also round with pups), who's mate died on their journey, finally found them and nearly upon their arrival, gave birth to four puppies each, of which all of them found their own lives elsewhere.
Dioute welcomed his cousin and her friend eagerly; he was excited to meet someone from his past life and was proud to show her what he had built at Wapiti Run.
Now, as an elderly she-wolf, with much life experience behind her, she can rest easy teaching young pups in Great Oak Down.
