TJ or Thoreau Junior is the beloved son of former Queen Beauregard and her mate, Yasha. Beau and Yasha had many children in their time, both by birth and adoption, but most desired to venture out into the world and see what there was to be seen. Upon his birth, Beauregard saw him in a dream, grown to a strong, keen wolf with a bright turquoise coat, one he was not born with. Beauregard's crown rested on his head and he was curled up in his cave with a wolf Beau did not recognize. From that day forward, it was prophecy that TJ would lead the Carat Conclave upon his mother's death.
TJ took the mantle of King of the Carat Conclave after his mother, Beuregard's death. TJ felt that the Forget-Me-Not crown his mother wore should be given to his mate, Toya, as his Queen. In her final days, his mother, Yasha, created his current crown, a crown of Hibiscus flowers that she picked days after Beauregard's death. And thus, Carat Conclave's new tradition of any Queen wearing the Forget-Me-Not crown and any King wearing the Hibiscus crown.
