When Hearth was born, she gave everybody a bit of a fright! A pure black wolf with striking yellow eyes was enough to shock everybody, especially coming from Huntress!

Although Hearth was conceived by Huntress going to Robin for a puppy blessing, Scout swears her birth and color is proof enough that Huntress should be his mate. Huntress actually agreed with Scout and wished she knew about his feelings sooner.

Hearth is a very sweet and loving wolf. Unfortunately, due to her dark color, sometimes wolves get surprised by her coming up near them! But they know she doesn't mean to scare and give her an affectionate nuzzle anyway. Hearth sees Scout as her father and loves to give him a sneaky cuddle.

Hearth is training to become a Chaser for Dawnrise. Due to her optimistic and trusting attitude, she feels she'd do well in a group setting and following orders. She also likes to look on the brightside of things and feels that her accidental stealth might be advantageous in the field, either to unnerve the prey or sneak up on them like her peers and family.
