Enigma - "someone mysterious, puzzling, or difficult to understand"

She was quiet and reserved. Enigma, kind yet distant. The following encounter, she may have hugged you exuberantly! The one after, a brief, cordial look. Only with her siblings and close family was she truly affectionate. Her desires she kept to herself, instead proffering food and warmth when and where needed.

Enigma held her ground when many did not, remaining with Snow Hearts and Felicity. The dissenting parties were not kind, so why follow them away? Felicity's worst trait was pride. Enigma would not fault Felicity for that.

Enigma's staunch and welcome loyalty was rewarded with silent support from Felicity. Should she seek the mantle, it was to be hers with no complaint nor jealousy. Enigma did not covet Felicity's position, but she was honored by the implication.

Alas, as time went on it was clear Enigma's strength was not needed so much as her ability as a chaser. She enjoyed scouting, but it was much too crowded what with the arrival of Ioa and Egg Bandit. At least Aduilc was a quiet sort, but Enigma felt he deserved to patrol their borders as well.

Thus, it was back to chasing for Stalwart Enigma.
