Biography
Scout/Elder
Sal joined the Snake River Pack later in life than most and brought with her invaluable knowledge of the world beyond their territory. If she was pleased to have found a new pack willing to take her in, she certainly didn't show it. Sal had thought they could use her swiftness in their hunting parties but was instead tasked with scouting. Which, in her mind, rendered her a perpetual vagabond. This did very little to improve her already unpleasant disposition, and she developed quite a reputation in the pack for her bad attitude. This earned her the nickname that she never did manage to shake, even when her manner softened upon the arrival of her first litter.
Her pups were the only ones to bring visible joy from the old wolf, who was apparently satisfied with her lot in life now that she had reason to return to the den each night. As time wore on, Sal proved herself not only a talented scout, but an invaluable source of wisdom for her pack. Every member, from their herbalist to their leader would come to rely on her advice.
