Gilda

Gilda was born in a small litter to a small pack. She was adored and spoiled and it went to her head quickly. One day it all came crumbling down. Humans invaded and trapped everyone. By either chance or a miracle, the crate that was holding her fell off the worn out truck that was spiriting the family away.

Once she managed to break out, she tried to trail after the acrid scent as far as she could. It wasn't enough though. She'd lost her family. Her own fire had died out and she was doing just enough to live, not knowing why.

Her meager life went on for two months before she bumped into a bouncy wolf and her calm friend. It didn't take long for Gilda to return to her boastful personality now that she was surrounded by others, especially with Shadeleaf praising every feat one of her friends did.

Though she still hopes that her birth-pack is okay, Gilda is thankful that she found a new family.

After having a litter of four beautiful pups with a male from another pack, Gilda couldn't be happier. That's what she thought until just a month and a half later one of her pups was found dead a few miles outside their territory. Now she knows she would be happier if he were still alive.

She wonders if the humans will ever stop taking from her.
