Mesho was born to Mokin and a male wolf that she doesn't know. However, she is not fatherless. Maxon, her mother's mate, makes every effort to play with her, teach her, and treat her as his own daughter. She is terribly spoiled, but she doesn't know it. She wants to help in every way she can, and often she has been hanging around a lot with Susquehanna, the grandson of Dioute. She is the camp sweetheart, due to her mother's own quiet sweetness and her father's playfulness.
After an issue with the new wolf Nishiwe and Tiriaq from Shenandoah with trying to hunt an elk calf, Susquehanna was injured when trying to stop them. She helped soothe his wounds when he returned and spent days with him after an infected bite. His mood had shifted and originally she considered it part of his fever. Instead, she found a wolf that was much kinder and less moody. Despite not really seeking what came next, Mesho was pregnant before the summer was over. She now has four healthy daughters, of which Susquehanna is wrapped around each of their little paws.
She has two younger siblings in Alax and Eho, as well as Chitanesu and Neyoti.
