Bearspirit has always been a kind and gentle soul, taking care of his mother during her depression at a young age. He continued to show this compassion for his packmates throughout his life, which led to it being no one's surprise that he became the ambassador for the Dreamlands. This is where he met his mate Nightdance and helped her integrate into the pack and become a vital part to it. Many wondered why Bearspirit did not want to be the next leader, but he had seen how it had tore at his mother and didn't wish the same for himself. This is why he has such a reservation for his ambitious daughter, Jay at Sapphire Pond, to take on the role.
