Shep

During the lesson: Dandelion suffered the consequences of his own idea for jaw muscle training. For about half of the class, Shep pulled on his tail as they couldn't find any good branches to practice on.

During the lesson: Stone explained to Shep how wet fur is not a good idea, especially in the winter. He demonstrated how to find rocks and dry patches to cross a creek or a river instead of swimming across it.

During the lesson: Today, Chucky put a toy near a guarding adult packmate. Shep was required to ambush the wolf using the den's familiar terrain with only a few suggestions from Chucky - an important lesson to take advantage of the surrounding land and what it has to offer.

During the lesson: With Stone overseeing the ordeal, Shep had to organize, coordinate and help the group move an entire fallen log out of the den. Tiny pups lack the strength on their own, but cooperating as a team can get things done!

During the lesson: With the carcass tied to a straw string, Chucky pulled it to simulate prey movement. Shep stalked and pounced on the "prey" successfully, and began to tear it apart before he was scolded to be more precise and not let food go to waste.

During the lesson: Chucky arranged a lesson where all the puppies roleplayed the life of a pack, changing roles on Chucky's signal. Shep experienced being a leader but also a subordinate, and realized that every role has its purpose.
