Biography
Glacier was born into an unremarkable pack in an unremarkable area, he was a healthy pup and grew strong under his mentors care. He was quite and standoffish even from birth but very driven and wanted to help his pack, he found himself a place as a guard of the territory and enjoyed his role well until one day while patrolling the western half of the territory he saw the smoke.
A fire had broken out after lightning struck a dead tree standing near camp starting an inferno that was spreading fast. He ran back as fast as he could to see the camp in a panic he rushed into the burning dens to help get out as many pups and elders as he could, he saved several but with the cost of his voice.
The smoke burnt his lungs and throat and he was sent into silence.
After than he grew sad, most of his pack members moving separately without a home to stay at and he was left forgotten in the silent crisps of his past.
He found he didn't have anything left for him in the forests he once called home and set out looking for something he could focus on.
Eventually after several months of travel he came across a small hunting party who were trying to get as much food as they could before the harsh of winter set in. He watched as they found a large elk and circled it it bolted threw a gap in the group and he ran in to fill it helping herd the elk back and finally kill it.
The group was great full and after many questions they realized he was silent but took him in like family anyway, he was still stron and smart after all a lack of voice was not a problem to them.
He stayed with that group making friends and family and was given the meaning he had been longing for for so long.
He was never interested in taking a mate and never had romantic whims just focused on his work and was content with that.
He worked until a late retirement, his eyes starting to fail him with age and was honored as a great hunter and friend in the pack after his death. His actions speaking much louder than the silence he held.
