Swiftnight came to the Catseye Pack as an adolescent named Aqualung, already embittered by life. Even as a pup she would scamper away from the adults, trying to put distance between herself and the cruel world. As she grew up, she quickly proved herself as a skilled chaser, and as she worked together with the other hunters, her bitterness faded, replaced with a sense of belonging. Determined to help the pack that had taken her in, she sought out strong mates to mother puppies that would join her in the hunt and feed their pack. Unexpectedly, motherhood became a new joy to her, so much so that she changed her name to set the past behind her. Now she hunts daily with her children, her old aggressive nature banished by the joy of pack and family.
