Amanita

It was a surprise to the pack that Portobello's smallest, weakest daughter was the one he named as his heir. But as she grew, even in her adolescent years her resilient spirit was plain to see. She soon won the respect and admiration of every wolf, young and old.

She spent much of her younger years being uncertain of her own decisions, privately second-guessing every choice she made. Her three sisters, Chantrelle, Truffle, and Cremini, were her biggest support system, but with her siblings all busy with their own tasks within the pack, Amanita spent a lot of nights restless and alone. She became engrossed in astrology and immersed herself in the Dreamlands. As the years passed, her anxieties passed, but her superstitions grew.

Mothered two daughters from a high-ranking mate from another pack, Venus and Mercury. Raising them helped fill a hole in her heart that she didn't even know was missing. Once they were grown, she took the devoted and kind Thunder Eagle as a mate. They had three more daughters, Antlia, Carina, and Vela.

Throughout her life Amanita would welcome many outsiders to the pack, restructuring how hunting patrols were organized so there was more food for her wolves. She also forged an official alliance between the Sunrise Pack and many others, the Crystal Forest Pack, Amistad, Radiant Shadows, Siasdren Pack, and the Cornflower Pack.
