Makala was an adopted canine, brought to the Black Heron pack very young. She was pampered, but she never could form any sort of relationship with any wolves. Until Tidewalker was taken in, she was lonely, and the two quickly bonded. Luckily she has befriended the heir, and has completed her training to become a scout.
