Due to being the smallest born of the litter Cass was also the weakest and on the verge of being sickly. But, as believed by her parents, she was cradled in the rays of the Sun and was saved from an early death. However she doesn't remember this time in her life.
Cass is quite the clingy pup but because she can't always be under her mothers and fathers paws she has formed her attachment to her oldest littermate, Chenoa, and their Lady in Waiting, Khaniya. Although she must learn the teachings of the tribe that her sister takes so seriously, Cass often goofs off and pesters her sister.
