The first hunter in the Sparrows Crest pack, he arrived with his mate Dusty looking for a home to make for themselves and somewhere for their future pups to thrive.
They were welcomed happily into the pack and Shards strong build and sharp mind made him a good hunter, his large heart and trustworthy nature made the him a good friend. He watched the pack expand slowly training other wolves and his own pups to follow in his steps. He helped build the first dens and the foundations of a strong back and become the most depended on wolf.
Him and his mate Dusty were young love and it only grew and sweetened like a fine wine over time, they endured much hardship, the loss of a litter during winter and a great sickness that almost killed Dusty but they persisted and their love is one envied by others.
Apon his death he was celebrated not mourned, his loss echoed threw the territory but not with sadness but triumph and remembrance. He will never be forgotten for his great work and compassion for all wolves that crossed his path.
