Though quiet, Alax and his brother Eho are true troublemakers. They often escape from camp in search of the 'Elk Haven', though each time they are found by patrols and returned home. Because their older sibling, Mesho was so dutiful and obedient, their parents are at a loss for how to handle their mischief. However, both pups would do well to avoid Allegheny, who makes sure to cuff the pups when she catches them causing trouble. Alax is known as the distractor, with his quiet innocence, while Eho sneaks in and steals prey or sneaks off. Sometimes they even get Kweti to unknowingly participate, but Nittany and Sutha's son is a little more difficult to trick into some pranks.
Though both pups have retained their wild side into adulthood, they are very capable hunters and strong additions to the Pack. They are head over heels for their newest young siblings and are very protective of them. Both brothers enjoy being around their sister-daughters, Ntalan, Kishu, and Tentay, as well as Nchinktehwe in the Shenandoah Pack when she visits. Poor, quiet Alax has had a crush on Siske since they were young and has had trouble trying to speak to her. He's gone to his mother for advice, but she is not much help in her own shy nature.
He finally confessed his feelings to her and he was delighted to find that she shared in his feelings. They became mates and are now pair-bonded.
