Annabeth

Pronounced (AN-uh-behth)

A hunter of the Silver Falcon Pack. A Chaser for the Dusk Owls hunting team. Child of the leader Boey and the hunter Phais. Paired with fellow Chaser Perci.

Dedicated and determined, hardworking. Has incredible resolve and will always see a hunt to its end. She may not have been the hunter prodigy her mom was but she more than makes up for it with practice and dedication, more akin to her dad's method. In fact, she's incredibly similar to her father in both appearance and personality, and they were like two peas in a pod.

Phais loves her dearly and gifted her a necklace made of owl talons, identical to the ones she and Boey wore, when Annabeth was just a small pup. And later, when it became clear that Annabeth was to follow in her pawsteps and become a Chaser, Phais gave her a large, fluffy owl feather, loosened from the same owl that Phais got hers from.

Annabeth's unusual (well, unusual for a wolf) name came from her grandmother, specifically Boey's mother. Boey was a wolfdog, and the dog came from his mother, a sheepdog named Genny. When Boey found and brought her to the pack, he invited her to name his daughter (and her granddaughter). Naturally, Genny gave her a respectable dog name - in fact, it was the name of a particularly brave sheepdog in a local legend. While its not typical for a wolf, Annabeth loves her name and accepts her partial dog heritage.
