Miracle

In Pine Grove's second year, late in the Spring, Miracle appeared as if out of thin air. She wandered into Pine Grove's territory and immediately sought out Aspen, to whom she said:

"I've Seen your pack, and you. I knew I was destined to be here. May I please join?"

As Aspen and the others would soon learn, Miracle was nothing short of her namesake, and had indeed "Seen" the pack -- as she was born with the unique gift of visions, from all places in time. Most of the pack had never heard of such an ability, but for the Herbalist, Sol.

"She's an Oracle," he said gleefully, wagging his tail as he sniffed her. "I never thought I'd see one in the flesh. I've spent my whole life trying to ascertain the mysteries of the world, and she simply Sees them."

Miracle was the result of an elderly, well-decorated sire and a younger mate from another clan. Her father passed shortly after her birth, and her two litter mates didn't make it, either. Miracle was quite alone with her mother, but that was fine for her, for a time.

When she first opened her eyes, however, she began to See things -- visions of the past, present, and future, happening all across the territories, sometimes in her own pack and sometimes far, far away. It was in these visions that she saw Pine Grove, and, as Zephyr suspects, a glimpse of some grand fate for the pack. So she trekked from the Deciduous Forest to the Coniferous, and once admitted in, happily integrated herself into its ranks.

She is a hunter, first and foremost, but also mother to pups of her own. She's a striking female, one who has a long life of motherhood to look forward to... and who knows what else.
