Maski

During the lesson: Fire Star talked about the differences between hunting alone and hunting in a pack. Maski listened carefully, trying to imagine the best role for himself in a hunting squad.

During the lesson: Maski failed to recognize a few subspecies of an important herb. Caroline explained the differences again and showed how simply scratching the leaf can release a scent that is quite easy to distinguish.

During the lesson: Maski was dropped on a very crackly underbrush with a lot of pebbles today. The challenge was to make the least amount of sound possible and get to Cinder in less than five minutes, otherwise they had to start over. It was a very cronchy day.

During the lesson: Today Dusk led Maski to a place where hiding spots were not so obvious. Maski had to think out of the box to outsmart Dusk.

During the lesson: Chasing birds can be a lot of fun, but it took forever today for any to show up and Maski ended up being bored. He decided to use a different nesting material for the next lesson.

During the lesson: Cinder demanded a hundred laps around the den today. It was meant to build "maximal oxygen uptake" and some other complex adult stuff any pup would be way too tired to understand.
