Lady Dís

Lady Dís is the second daughter of Lady Siri and Lord Viggo, is sister to Itara, Reykr, and Artúr.

Dis's mother was surprised and delighted when her little daughter first opened her eyes to reveal the same luminous moonglow her mother developed after frequently walking the Dreamlands. Siri adamantly believed her daughter's unnatural eyes to be a mark of grand destiny.

Charming and genteel, Dis is quick to make friends with most everyone around her. She was an eager student, and her quiet but steely enthusiasm for new things has followed her into her role as Lady. Even though her eyes can make her look intimidating at first, her grace and wisdom quickly mark her as a natural leader. If she has any fault, it's vanity.

She's best friends with Hera, who was adopted into the pack as a pup, and with Bard, who's a few years her senior. She and Bard were sweethearts long before she became Lady.

She's very proud of her children, and is far more open with her affection than her mother was.

THE LADY

The Lady of Nightwood is in charge of organizing, protecting, and ensuring the survival of the Nightwood Pack alongside her chosen bondmate. The title is passed down from mother to daughter, the eldest always trained and prepared to follow in her mother's paw steps.

The Lady is a spiritual leader as well. She bears a special connection to the Moon, being the only one able to traverse the Dreamlands and interact with Cnitharian lunar beings. It's not uncommon for her eye color to suddenly change after wandering the Dreamlands long enough. Her link with the lunar wolf goddess is represented by the moonlight-filled jeweled headdress and pendant she wears. Her heir wears an identical pendant. Runts of the litter are ineligible to be designated as heir - the potential prosperity of both the Pack and the royal line can not risk jeopardization.
