Silvergaze

Role in the Pack: Pack's beta aka second in command; helps alpha to lead the pack and gives advises, will take command if the alpha is sick or otherwise unable to lead. A main scout; decides where to scout and how to proceed.

Silvergaze is a tough lady with a piercing gaze. She is rather quiet and observing type, but she knows her worth and doesn't tolerate bad behavior towards herself. She has alpha material, but she truly respects Rustpelt, and has no intention to overthrow him from the lead. She has earned her own posion as a beta as she is respected and her observant eyes will notice even smallest events in the pack. She is a strong-minded and quick deciding individual, but extremely loyal to her pack and alpha. At first she might seem a little harsh wolf, but she has a gentle side of her, too. Rustpelt was the first one to get to see that side, and it ended them become mates. Silvergaze loves Rustpelt deeply.

Silvergaze is a secondary founder of the Pack of the Howling Forest.

Silvergaze had to leave her former pack as it was her mother's dying wish, 'to find a new, better place to survive and life happily'. Her former pack was suffering a wave of mysterious illness, and there weren't enough healthy wolves to hunt for the whole pack. Silvergaze's mother send her away as she hoped at least that way her daughter would have a change of survival. Silvergaze was a loyal wolf and didn't want to leave her pack behind, but she didn't dare to defy her sick mother's last wish. So she left.

She wandered alone for a long time, 'till she heard an howl. A Mystic, but calling howl. She found two wolves; a black female and a brown male wolf howling together. Silvergaze didn't know what hit to her, but she felt an urge to join them. And she did. She quickly learned that the brown wolf, Rustpelt, had just moved in and was starting a new pack in the area. Rustpelt and Silvergaze formed an alliance, and that's how the Pack of Howling Forest was formed. Silvergaze quickly took the duty of scouting the lands around them and reported her findings to Rustpelt. As more wolves joined and the pack grew, she became officially a pack's beta.

It didn't take long either for Silvergaze and Rustpelt to fall in love. She knew Rustpelt was a good match to her, as he kept her calm. She also knew that he would make a great father of her pups, when she found out she was expecting. Later, she gave birth to her first litter of their two pups, Hareleap and Greyfur (Greyfur passed later in life in accident).

Later on, a packmember found two abandoned wolfpups in their territory and bring them back. Her mate and alpha Rustpelt didn't want them to die and came to agreement with her to raise the pups as their own alongside Hareleap. The trio (that later was known as 'the Double Trouble Pups' because of their shenanigans) was named Pebblestep and Stromcloud.

Silvergaze passed away on warm Summer night from old age after she had developed some mysterious condition due to her age. She will be mourned deeply by the pack and especially by her mate, the First Alpha Rustpelt.
