In continuation of tradition, Mairfidh was trained for co-leadership with her deartháir (brother) Misniúil. The two siblings were not as tightly knit as Mishka and Lórcan, however, and they had a lot to learn before they were ready to lead as a united front.
Mairfidh is much more of a team player and keen to collaborate, but struggles to assert herself and can find herself being overridden by her bossy deartháir. However, scouting training has built her independence and confidence in her own skills, while humbling her brother who has finally got a taste of the obstacles involved in working alone.
The two now lead together as a united front.
