Biography
Adopted from Enclave by Neomi. She was named 'Byrn' for her dark fur, which resembles burnt wood.
--While visiting Lillemor, Neomi found a pup playing with some pups at the back of the Encave--clearly the unwanted pups. She seemed to have some difficulty keeping up with the other pups as they played, looking easily tired. Neomi took pity on the pup and adopted her. Alpha Iranul was a bit hesitant, since it was at that season where most of the females started giving birth, but he accepted his new adopted daughter after some persuasion from his Pairbond.
--Byrn is pretty healthy pup, but Lyte warned Alpha Iranul and Neomi that Byrn may experience difficulty breathing for the rest of her life; he guessed that perhaps Byrn was born with immature lungs. Lyte advised the pair to allow Byrn to regularly exercise and let her visit either him or Sun for checkups (just until she becomes an adolescent).
--With the arrival of a new sibling, Byrn easily becomes the baby of the family!
--Because of their somewhat similar names, Byrn and Blayz get along well with each other--and, by extension, Flynt too.
--After months of training and exercise, Byrn can finally keep up with the other wolves playing, hunting, or whatnot for a few hours without losing breath. It's a big improvement from before when she literally couldn't run lest she strain her lungs. Her adoptive parents and siblings are all proud of her!
--Growing up, Byrn became close with Erlyn. The latter was blind, while she had a lung deficiency, so they related with one another and decided to look after each other.
--Byrn has grown up to be a damn beautiful wolf. She's as beautiful as her older adoptive sister, Sunset, if not more (though, Sunset would bite any-wolf who said that to her face). It was annoying to Alpha Iranul, who had to keep chasing unwanted males off his territory.
--Now that Byrn has grown up, she replaced Sunset as Laelaps' Stalker. Sunset pestered her with endless worries, but Byrn assured her that she would do fine as a Hunter. Her health has gotten better than when she was a pup, so there'll definitely be no problems. And even if there were, she had the team to help her out!
--While being on maternity leave in the Crescent Comb Cave, Byrn sees Sveleven come and make trouble. She demands Byrn to fight with her under the guise of "making sure her skills don't become rusty." Although Byrn isn't far along yet, she still can't help but feel annoyed. She knows Sveleven has an obsessive crush on Clyve and is most likely angry at her because she was bred by Clyve, but is that her problem? She's just taking care of her heat and fulfilling one of her duties as a she-wolf. Sveleven won't take 'no' for an answer, though. Thankfully, Clyve stepped in and resolved the problem (though, it ended up with Sveleven being humiliated in front of everyone in Crescent Comb Cave).
--With Saiya retiring, Byrn has become Laelaps' Lead Hunter, as the oldest and most experienced wolf in the team.
--Byrn has become the Alpha's Companion. She was surprised that Sveleven chose her to be her companion, considering their history. But she respects Sveleven's decision for her help and was flattered when Sveleven said she needed a bright and imaginative wolf to lead alongside her.
--Byrn retires after giving her position to Biggus Chunkust, and now focuses on her duties as the Alpha's Companion. She transfers the mantle of Lead Huntress to Dyst.
