Alaric is Ares and Usagi's son, a promising future leader. He is fiercely independent, reckless, and self-assured. After a tragic accident with a Bull Elk as a pup, where his brother Cronus was killed, he changed a bit. He became depressed for a long time and underwent a dramatic change due to the trauma. As his brother aspired to be the Pack's greatest hunter alongside him, Alaric takes his role as a Hunter quite seriously to make his brother proud.

He is cautious, though still independent and enjoys taking the lead on hunts, though sometimes a bit stubborn with taking advice. His fierce independence and stubbornness are a fault of his that occasionally result in a dispute, though his experience as a Hunter means his judgement is usually reliable. He took on the Deputy Hunter role upon his mother's death as Torak took over as Lead, but eventually, Ares decided to allow Alaric to be a second Lead Hunter alongside Torak the day Ares announced Alaric his official successor, as Darkvalley Pack's next Leader.
