Ember (Saph)

Ember is a feisty and energetic wolf, with an inner fire that is reflected outwards in her pelt and eyes. She's the best chaser of the Moonlit Hunters, and happily leads the chase for the groups next prey.

Like most of the pack, Ember has no mate. Not many options when none of them are available or searching, or are too young. But she is open to the idea, and had at one point thought that she and Oakly could have been an item. But, Ember is a wolf of respect, and took the kind rejection well. She has decided to let her future love come to her, if they ever will, and in the mean time focuses on teaching the future hunters and raising her six pups (even if some of them are adults now).

Ember had chosen to leave her old pack due to how large and underfed it was. Their leader was old, far past the age of retirement, and too incompetent. He had let the pack get so large that there wasn't enough prey for them all, which led to fighting and disputes within.

She wan't the only wolf to leave when she did, though she was one of the youngest, a group of almost twenty of them had made a deal to escape and make their own pack many years ago. Sadly, most of them died due to predators or disease, and the rest of them went their own ways. Ashila, Ember's half sister, stayed with her, and now they work together to provide for their new pack, and keep it from falling to the same fate.
