During the lesson: Gravel stuffed herbs into his mouth and chewed them into a paste. He spit the wad into a paw and dabbed it onto a leaf, showing Kelly the proper technique.

During the lesson: No matter the weather, a good hunter must be ready for every obstacle. Kelly learned how to work in harder conditions, and although it was a bit stressful, she felt proud at the end.

During the lesson: It seemed that Kelly achieved perfection today, at least in comparison with a couple of trials before. She jumped with joy and ran to her parents to prove that she was almost an adult now!

During the lesson: The lesson today focused on relaying information accurately among pack members. Kelly sat with several other pups as they whispered the same sentence around the circle and tried to keep it the same, but when it came back to Spire it was hilariously different than when it started.

During the lesson: For small prey, Alister explained claws are your best asset. He demonstrated to Kelly that there are ways to pin prey down and kill with a small bite to the neck, rather than trying to bite the entire piece of prey and ruining it.

During the lesson: Kelly learned today how to avoid conflict by asking questions first rather than imply solutions. This made packmates feel included in decision making, which strengthened the bond of the entire pack.
