Ahke

A young blind pup that wandered onto the territory, he was readily brought into the pack and accepted as one of their own. With a kind and friendly disposition, Ahkepinkwe fit right in. He has made close friends with the other pup his age, Kdago and she is always eager to guide him about and tell him about her day.

As he gets older, Ahke has spent most of his time with Appalachia and Keokuk, learning remedies and how to identify herbs by scent alone. He was thrilled when she offered for him to become the next Healer and he has eagerly imagined his future within the Pack. The most significant part of his daydreams is Kdago, who has grown more and more affectionate of. They have since become pair-bonded.

Since Appalachia has retired, he has taken on being the herbalist with determination and confidence, despite his blindness. He is joined by the fox, Keokuk, who helps him where he can. He grieved the death of Appalachia, but was glad to continue her legacy. He was soon joined by another fox that Keokuk met by the name of Okwe. The two foxes are very helpful and it is suspected that they are pair-bonded soon as well.

When he is not busy, Ahke is spending most of his time with his mate, Kdago or speaking with the council of wolves at Antler Ridge. He is very supportive of Nanoak and Saunee as well, since the passing of Dioute.
