Biography

A wolf wise beyond his years, whose name means "Protector" in a forgotten language. His pack knows him as a quiet but sturdy presence. They often call him "the blind seer" due to the lightness of his eyes. Most pups born with such irises cannot see, and die during infancy. Renothe has flourished, and his pale eyes see all.
At least, that's what the pack's youth believe, and Renothe surely won't correct them.
THE CIRCLE
Asha - Companion, partner, confidante. Renothe can't remember a time when Asha wasn't by his side.
Jaisa - A trusted friend and advisor. Jaisa's friendly disposition makes her well-liked among the rest of the pack, giving her unique insight into each wolf's mind.
Scully - The two met over a contested carcass. The beige wolf's sharp tongue quickly stoked Renothe's temper. They fought until both were left exhausted and bleeding. Asha found them sharing the elk sometime later - Renothe at the belly, Scully at the throat, both covered in a mix of each other's blood and the deer's. They've been steadfast friends ever since.
THE OTHERS
Dapple - An orphan taken in by the pack. Renothe was resistant at first, but Asha insisted. Dapple's vivacious nature and eager curiosity quickly earned the leader's affection.
Goss - The brown male is barely tolerated by Renothe, but the lead can't deny the wolf's keen nose and eye for detail.
The rest of the pack knows Renothe as a steady, reserved leader. He isn't unapproachable, but neither does he go out of his way to get to know each of them. He's largely paws-off in his approach to leadership: his duty is to maintain the pack's borders and protect them from threats, but otherwise he allows the others to work out their own scuffles.
