The son of the lead pair, Coal and Ash, Charcoal is very careful about how he is perceived by the pack, and his moves tend to be calculated. He's nice enough, but one never really gets the sense of knowing the real version of him, so carefully preserved is his social mask. His fur grew darker as he aged.
