Obi

During the lesson: Spitfire explained to Obi how wet fur is not a good idea, especially in the winter. She demonstrated how to find rocks and dry patches to cross a creek or a river instead of swimming across it.

During the lesson: After learning the basics in a familiar area, Spitfire took Obi to train outside the den for a new, exciting challenge. Obi had to ambush Spitfire using all the knowledge gathered so far and see how different it is in an unfamiliar area.

During the lesson: Spitfire suffered the consequences of her own idea for jaw muscle training. For about half of the class, Obi pulled on her tail as they couldn't find any good branches to practice on.

During the lesson: Obi listened carefully to Alister's lecture about how biting and tussling aren't allowed during teamwork. That was a bit disappointing, but Obi was ready for the hard work.

During the lesson: Tamara explained to Obi that with bigger prey, you can wound them in vulnerable areas so that they are easier to take down. Obi mimicked where she bit the carcass near the belly and ankles.

During the lesson: Obi learned about hierarchy and the rules within the pack. He was surprised how the adults could always remember all of this.

During the lesson: Mari introduced a wary Obi to Herbert. She explained that Herbert is an expert on where to gather herbs, and can also trade herbs for others that you need.
