Mere weeks after moving into the new, open environment of the prairie Wizard Zairn still foraged with caution. He scented a neighboring pack and flattened himself into the grass. They moved with confidence, silhouettes in black and grey tones. When they left he picked up the scent of a lone adolescent male. He smelled sickly, so Zairn tracked him.

Hiding in the brush was the whitest wolf he'd ever seen. Zairn smiled. "Hello pup, what are you doing alone?"

The thin pup hung his head. "The new leader chased me away. He said there was no room for a dandelion seed that'll scare the prey."

"Well, you don't have to hunt dandelions! I've been thinking about who I trust to train for medicine-making. Let's go see if Alpha Yerv thinks you have what it takes."

Rayld was quick to befriend Yerv's granddaughter, Auwt. Between his paleness and her strange bobcat whiskers they always had someone to talk to when they felt others were judging them.

Lost his best friend and mentor when he was only 3 years old. Rayld promised to continue the tradition of Wizard and keep the pack healthy.
